Dangerous goods or materials pose a lot of hazard to health, property and the environment, as a result of their inherently hazardous characteristics such as toxicity, flammability, corrosive nature, etc.
As these goods are moved/transported from one place to the other, the hazards associated with them increases greatly, making the transportation process a “complicated” one. This makes safe transportation a huge concern.
However, with the right training, anyone involved in the handling and transportation of dangerous goods need not have to worry as such an individual would have acquired the know-how to classify, identify, package, document, label and prepare a shipment for safe transport, and what to do in case of an emergency.
Attendance to this two (2) days course is recommended to all employees involved in the transportation, shipping and receiving of dangerous goods.
